President
Sharon Y. Johnson-Frew
Ms. Frew is a distinguished professional with a comprehensive background in secondary education, early childhood development, and accounting. She holds certifications in building contracting, HUD housing counseling, and leadership development for non-profit organizations. With extensive experience in social services, economic development, grant writing, property management, and affordable housing, Ms. Frew has held pivotal roles such as Executive Director, Grant Writer, and Property Acquisition Specialist. Her career is marked by significant contributions to the Boynton Beach community, the WPB Housing Authority, the TED Center, Local Initiatives Support Corp, Delray CRA, the Community Caring Center of PBC, the Boynton Beach CDC, as well as several local non-profit organizations and social services, affordable housing, and hunger alliances, where she has shared her leadership, vision, programmatic development, technical assistance, consulting, and grant writing expertise. Ms. Frew has developed educational programs for first-time home buyers, technical assistance and training for contractors, green markets, agritourism by creating an urban farm, and a culinary incubator program, educating visitors on the importance of local agricultural production, and the limitation for the poor to have affordable access to healthy food.

Frank T. Buggs, II
Frank T. Buggs, II is a lifelong learner and accomplished professional with a strong academic foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. His education has equipped him with strategic insight and a collaborative mindset, which he applies across both his professional and volunteer endeavors. Frank is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA), the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). He proudly serves as Treasurer for Bethune-Cookman University’s Class of 1984. Professionally, Frank has held impactful roles in the technology and wellness sectors. He served as an Implementation Specialist at MasterCard, delivering innovative payment solutions, and as an IT Project Manager and Programmer at Hewlett Packard, where he led complex technology initiatives. Currently, he is a Board-Certified Massage Therapist, licensed by both the NCBTMB and the Florida Department of Health, using his skills to promote health and wellness. Beyond his career, Frank is an enthusiastic volunteer whose service spans organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Feeding South Florida, March of Dimes, The Mourning Family Foundation, and the Miami Dolphins Special Teams. He has also contributed to civic life through the St. Louis County Board of Elections and is deeply involved in youth sports, coaching club volleyball and mentoring fellow coaches. Frank is known for his reliability, compassion, and unwavering commitment to community engagement.

Carla Colebrooks
A Dedicated ESOL Educator and Life Coach, Ms. Colebrooks has over 25 years of experience in the Palm Beach County School System. Beginning her journey with an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management from Bethune-Cookman University, she was inspired by her family, especially her mother, to pursue teaching. She returned to school to earn two master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Reading, with an ESOL endorsement. Throughout her career, Ms. Colebrooks has dedicated herself to nurturing and motivating students, particularly those learning English as a second language. Her commitment to building self-esteem, fostering courage, and creating a safe, trusting environment has helped countless students achieve their academic and personal goals, with many students going on to become successful professionals in various fields. Ms. Colebrooks is celebrated by her students as a “Life Coach” and “Motivator,” always encouraging them to embrace a positive mindset and believe in their ability to succeed. Ms. Ainbinder is a retail sales specialist with over twenty-five years of firsthand experience driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction in fast-paced retail environments. She is adept at managing inventory, processing transactions, and leading teams to exceed sales goals. Known for a strong customer service focus, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining organized, well-stocked sales floors. She has a proven ability to train and supervise staff, streamline store procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations from opening to closing. She brings a unique blend of retail expertise and community-minded leadership to any organization.
